I pray that you all had a great Christmas! And pray that you all remembered the goodness of God on our Lord Jesus Christ’s Birthday.

But today officially marks the last Friday of the year. By the grace of God, we have seen 52 Fridays. And we have made it to the end of our last full week of the year.

So, on this last Friday, let’s intentionally carry out the new before the New Year arrives. Start now in walking in newness.

“Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.”

Ephesians 4:23-24 NLT

Let’s put into practice now our new nature. We have aligned with God, and laid aside old weight, so let’s move forward before the year turns.

“But God’s discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness. No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.”

Hebrews 12:10-11 NLT

Instead of holding out for the first, let’s start training our bodies, minds, and spirit now. So, when the first comes it will be easy to transition fully in the new year.

So, on this Friday and the remaining days of the year, get yourself ready for 2025. Discipline yourself now, so you may experience your peaceful harvest.

I pray that you all have an amazing last few days of the year and remember to uplift, inspire, enlighten, and, more importantly, encourage someone. If you want to reach out or have any prayer requests, you can submit them here.
