For our April series, we will be emphasizing Jesus. This month we commemorate Passover, Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Resurrection Sunday.

All these events/days testify to who Jesus is and the fulfillment of God’s plan from the beginning of creation.

Jesus is the fulfillment of all things because all things were created through him.

“God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.”

John 1:3 NLT

And since everything was created from and through him, we can’t talk about our life without talking about Jesus.

Jesus gave us life, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10 NKJV).

Jesus gave us the gift of salvation, “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16 NLT).

Jesus freed us from the penalty of sin, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23 NLT).

Jesus bought us access to the Lord, “In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence” (Ephesians 3:12 NIV).

Jesus has given us a new covenant “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—and agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you” (Luke 22:20 NLT).

Jesus has given us an inheritance, “In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will” (Ephesians 1:11 NKJV).

Jesus is so much and more to us. He is our everything.

So, this month leading up to Resurrection Sunday, remember all the great things Jesus has done for the world. And remember all the great things that He has done for you.

“Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

Philippians 4:8 NLT

Y’all have a great week and remember to uplift, inspire, enlighten, and, more importantly, encourage someone. If you want to reach out or have any prayer request or questions, then you can submit them here.
