“I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” (Revelation 1:17-18 NIV)

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!” (Luke 24:5-6 NIV)

“And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” (Romans 8:11 NIV)

Jesus is alive! The tomb for which He was placed is still empty today. It forever serves as an everlasting sign that Jesus is alive and rose from the grave.

And the same Spirit that rose him from the grave is living in the inside of us. “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?” (1 Corinthians 6:19 NIV)

We serve a God who is alive. For he humbled himself and wrapped himself in flesh so that we may have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

For he chose to lay down his life and had the power to take it up again. “The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” (John 10:17-18 NIV)

Jesus came and walked among us not only to give us life but show us that he is life.

“I am the way and the truth and the life.”

John 14: 6 NIV

So, as we remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us this month, know that he is life and has given you life. For he is the one who is alive and in whom all things have their being.

Y’all have a great week and remember to uplift, inspire, enlighten, and, more importantly, encourage someone. If you want to reach out or have any prayer request or questions, then you can submit them here.
