He (God/Christ) is found (uncovered, revealed, known) in (the midst of) the wait (period of time before the manifestation of His promise).

He is Found in The Wait

“We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.”

Psalms 33:20-22 NIV

What do you do when you have exhausted all your resources? What do you do when you have done all you can physically do? What do you do when you have come to the end of yourself?

You turn to the Lord!

Whenever the people of Israel were frightened or needed help, the bible says that they would cry out to the Lord. That they would once again acknowledge him and turn from their wicked ways (2 Chronicles 7:14).

David said that some put their hope in chariots and horses, but we put our hope into the Lord. (Psalms 20:7).  And he also said, “If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: If I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.” (Psalms 139:8 KJV). We can ALWAYS turn to him in any and every situation, and He will be there.

Whenever the volume of life and the anxiety of waiting get to be too much, we have Jesus to fall back on.

“‘ My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.’ So now I am glad to boast about my weakness, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT

God is with you and promises to never leave you nor forsake you.

“It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will [march] with you; He will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; [let there be no cowardice or flinching, but] fear not, neither become broken [in spirit—depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm].”

Deuteronomy 31:8 AMPC

We should not become anxious because it is the Lord who goes before us. We don’t have to concern ourselves with the details, because God knows them.

The Lord’s requirement is for us to follow Him, and to not be consumed with the things of this world.

“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

Matthew 6:31-34 NLT

The Lord knows exactly what we need and when we need it. For, “There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven—” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 AMP).

What we are waiting for has an appointed time. So, don’t concern yourself with the object or thing you are waiting on but look to/seek after God, who our hope is in.

So, today I implore all of you to look for the Lord in those moments when life seems to be too much. When you have questions in your heart, wondering if God is truly going to fulfill His promise. Remember, “But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For how can one hope for what he already sees? But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure.” (Romans 8:24-25 AMPC)
